Sean McCabe
A successful PR campaign doesn’t hinge on whom you know; it’s about telling a captivating story.

Sean is based in Boston, Mass., and is lead media strategist for the Pinkston Group. He is a veteran of two presidential campaigns and leads the company’s health care PR practice. Over the course of nearly 20 years in public relations, Sean has developed and implemented more than 100 media campaigns for corporations, non-profits and political organizations including AIG, Harris Healthcare, Team Care Medicine, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Ford Motor Company, and Smith Electric Vehicles.

From 2010 to 2011, Sean led media relations efforts for the award-winning public relations campaign leading up to the Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration. Sean has a particular expertise with book launches, including leading campaigns for more than 30 New York Times best-sellers.

Prior to joining the Pinkston Group in 2007, Sean was vice president of a public relations firm based in Alexandria, Va., where his clients included AT&T, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Sean was a key member of the communications team managing the media strategy and campaign to confirm U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito. Sean’s efforts on the campaign led to a presidential invitation to the White House.

Sean previously served as a congressional liaison with the United States Business and Industrial Council. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and was deployed to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, for Operation Uphold Democracy in 1994. Sean is a graduate of Stonehill College.
